Force a student password reset

Important: This functionality is only available for the Transeo Serve product.

If your school using standalone authentication (i.e. Transeo manages all of your student's usernames and passwords) you can force a password reset via the district portal. This will require the user to change their password upon their next visit to the Transeo site. 


  1. Start by navigating to the district dashboard and selecting the school of the user you want to update.
  2. Select "Users" from the school's dashboard page.
  3. Search for the user you wish to update, and click on their name.
  4. Select the "Force Password Reset" option at the bottom of the page.


Note: This feature is not available to Transeo districts that use Google, LDAP, or ClassLink authentication.
